Novice community class

During my TESOL practicum, I taught a novice-level community English class for adult learners.

The course focused on basic communication, everyday vocabulary, and interactive participation.

Fun warm-up

Students participating in a warm-up speaking activity

For April Fools’ Day, I used a true-or-false speaking warm-up that encouraged students to think critically, explain their reasoning, and speak in a low-pressure, enjoyable setting.

Grammar: adjective endings

Students working during a grammar activity

This instructional activity focused on helping students notice patterns, apply grammar rules in context, and use adjective endings more accurately in speaking and writing.

Short speaking reels

I also create short, practical reels with speaking tips students can quickly remember and apply outside of class.

This section showcases a collection of videos that reflect my teaching style and classroom practice. I enjoy using creative and engaging methods to help students learn, especially through activities that make learning feel fun and meaningful. My main focus is on developing students’ speaking and listening skills, so many of these videos highlight interactive tasks, real-life communication, and student-centered learning.

Through these videos, you will see how I encourage students to participate, express their ideas, and build confidence in using English. I believe that when students are actively involved and enjoying the process, they learn more effectively and develop stronger communication skills.
